What does Nora write about?

Whatever her heart desires, but mainly, thewritinggirl.com is focused on Nora’s main passion: writing.

She shares her thoughts and progress on writing, creativity in all its glory, and other interests such as fashion, beauty, philosophy, psychology, lifestyle, personal style, books, and much more. A plethora of passions reside here and are shared in storytelling, sometimes as insight, and often posed as questions.

Is this the Internet’s best blog ever?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You decide. But if you ask Nora, yes, this definitely is the best blog ever created. With diverse topics, it’s an eclectic space for writers, readers, thinkers, dreamers, and go-getters.

Can I expect weekly posts as promised?

Great question! If you are familiar with astrology, you’ll be very disappointed to hear that Nora is a pisces. The fish sign are known as dreamers of the zodiac, and Nora is a prime example.

Even with great passion and massive love for her creativity and blogging hobby, Nora more often than not finds herself daydreaming. She can daydream within a daydream. It’s a unique skill that even she cannot figure out how she pulls it off. She will sit at her desk, ready to write her next favorite article, and poof! She manages to escape her own paradise and plops into a new one.

All jokes aside, she is determined to take care of and update her little blog as often as she can.

Is this blog for profit or for passion?

This blog is created out of passion, not for profit. It’s for the joy of blogging, self-expression, goal-setting, and dream-making. Life can be tough sometimes, this place is an escape. If money is involved, you’ll know of any affiliate links or any of that money-making mumbo-jumbo.

Is Nora really writing a book?

Yes, she is. With many creative undertakings dancing around in her brain, she is often overwhelmed with story ideas and projects, but very determined to write her book—just not with as much swiftness as your caffeinated, thousand-words-a-day type of author. She’s much less Stephen King and much more George R.R. Martin. But even less than George R.R. Martin. She didn’t write a book yet, let alone 700 pages.

Stay tuned to find out when Nora announces her novel.

How many Noras’ are there?

There’s just the one and only. Nora does not refer to herself in third-person in real life. She just thought this would be a fun way to answer these questions that no one ever asked. What a suave way to introduce you to her eccentric persona, don’t you think?

Does Nora use A.I. on her blog?

Nora hates A.I. She thinks of it as the “killer of creativity.” As long as there is air in her lungs, Nora will not use artificial intelligence. She appreciates the challenge and suffering that comes with writing and creating.

You can expect spelling errors, grammar mistakes, long passages that drone on and on, and no clear point to be made in some entries. That’s because Nora is human, not a robot. She will work on her craft with blood, sweat, and tears, and write authentically—from brainstorming to research to forming her article titles. She is devoted to evolving and improving her writing genuinely by her own merit.

Why is this blog called The Writing Girl?

Why are we alive in this universe? These are questions that have many answers. But to give this one a shot, during the inception of this blog, The Writing Girl was inspired while Nora binge-watched one of her favorite shows, The Golden Girls. Thus, the name was tried on, et voilà! thewritinggirl.com was born.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Nora doesn’t know, she’s pescatarian and enjoys a mainly plant-based diet. Try a coconut-based chickpea curry sometime!

Is Nora a tea or coffee drinker?

That’s a tough one. She will indulge in either, but prefers tea with milk. Homemade coffees are her favorite. Neither affects her ability to write, but she does like to use her love of hot beverages as an excuse to take a break.
